I have a question about an item on Kapha Living’s website, what should I do?

I like to see things in person, do you have a physical location?
We do not currently operate a physical store. However, we sometimes participate in pop-up shops and art shows in the Florida Gold Coast area. What’s a Kapha Living Gift Card?
Looking for the perfect gift, but not sure what to get that special someone? Give them the gift of choice with a Kapha Living gift card. Gift Cards are digital products, delivered via email, and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout. There are no additional fees or taxes and gift cards do not expire. Creating an account with Kapha Living will allow you to have easy tracking of your Gift Card usage. Contact us any time to look up your gift card amount or balance in the event your information is lost.

How do I use me Kapha Living Gift Card?
Gift cards can be redeemed during checkout. When filling out your payment information, place your gift code in the gift card box and hit apply. Once you click “APPLY”, your total will be adjusted.

What are Crystals and how do they work?
Created from Earth’s inner core, natural crystals possess powerful energies that resonate with the human body, making them excellent energy healing tool. Healers the world over have used precious and semi-precious gemstones throughout history for spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. As we know, everything is energy – including your crystals. Crystals are solid materials whose atoms are arranged in a repeating geometric pattern that forms a lattice, giving them their unique shape. All crystals vibrate at a specific frequency that can intermix with our own frequency and even cause changes to it. This is one of the reasons crystals are said to have powers over our mood and wellbeing. In addition to bringing-in the good vibes that we all need, crystals work as a tool to help ground you and provide you with a physical representation of your intention, something that you’re able connect with on a daily basis. Their energy will support you and amplify your efforts while you are doing the work to make the changes that you want to see in your life. How to use a healing crystal?
There are many ways to incorporate crystal energy into your life. From wearing crystal jewelry, using crystals for meditation, making crystal grids, creating gem elixirs, placing them throughout your home as décor pieces to add positive energy and more – you can easily find a few methods that will work well for you. Each crystal page on our website will provide you with the crystal’s meaning/properties and suggested ways to use them. Please note that crystals act as support tools in your healing journey and can serve as a tangible representation of your intentions. They are not a magic cure; you still have to put in the work.
Are all of the crystals on Kapha Living’s website genuine stones? Natural vs Enhanced vs Man-Made?
All of the crystals we carry are natural stones with a few exceptions that are always clearly labeled and explained in the description. These exceptions include aura and heat-treated crystals (enhanced) and Goldstone (man-made). Please refer to respective crystal pages for more details.
We are very selective about our stones. We want you to be assured that our crystals are of the highest quality and that they are obtained in an ethical manner. Our suppliers are dedicated to being socially responsible and minimizing environmental impact. We source our crystals from our trusted vendors to ensure authenticity and that each crystal vibrates at its highest frequency when it arrives to its new home.
Are all of your paintings original works of art?
All the artwork displayed in our “Paintings” section are originals. We have a separate “Prints” section for limited editions and open edition prints.
What does “Limited Edition” and “Open Edition” mean?
Some artworks on Kapha Living, listed under “Prints”, will be labeled as either “Limited Edition” or “Open Edition”. With “Limited Edition”, the artist restricts the total amount of prints produced in the edition, these artworks are produced in a set limited quantity. “Open Edition” pieces are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, every artwork in the edition is identical. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. When an artwork is a print, it will be clearly stated in the description.
Do you provide proof of authenticity?
For many of our pieces we’ll be happy to include a Certificate of Authenticity with your shipment. Usually upon request.
Will my artwork arrive ready to hang?
In the description of a piece, we usually list details pertaining to the specific artwork and if there is any special packing method offered. In the artwork description section, the terms below will indicate how an artwork will be packaged for shipping:
- Stretched canvas – Stretched or stretch canvas refers to a standard canvas painting wrapped around a wooden frame known as “stretcher-bars”. These works will arrive flat and are ready to hang. Note that there is no outside frame around the piece.
- Rolled canvas – the painted-on canvas pieces will be shipped rolled in a rigid tube. Many artworks will be shipped rolled. It is also far less expensive to ship works rolled.
- Gallery Wrapped Canvas – Stretched or stretch canvas refers to a standard canvas painting wrapped around a wooden frame known as “stretcher-bars”. These works will arrive flat and are ready to hang. Note that there is no outside frame around the piece.
- Large /Oversized Artwork – Very large works are shipped rolled whenever possible and this will typically be indicated in the artwork description.
Can I share Kapha Living’s photos online or through social media?
You’re welcome to share Kapha Living’s photos on your blog and social media pages as long as clickable credit is clearly given to Kapha Living in the caption. Photos may not be used to advertise or sell products of any kind. Every photo posted on this website and our social media is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 and is the property of Kapha Living/Kapha Group LLC. PLACING AN ORDER
How do I place an order?
To place an order online, add the items(s) you wish to order in your shopping cart by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button located next to the product image. When you’re ready to complete your order, click “Continue Checkout” from within your cart and follow the instructions. If you have any questions about an item, please feel free to email us prior to placing an order online, email@example.com. Your order will be shipped after we have received credit authorization.
How do I check the status of an order?
After making your purchase, you will receive an email receipt and a confirmation of your order. As soon as your package ships, we’ll send you a confirmation email that includes a tracking number. With your tracking number you’ll be able to check the status of a current order from the courier’s website.
What if I do not receive my order?
If after tracking your order you are still unable to determine where your order is, please call us at (561) 376-2392 for assistance.
Do you offer gift packaging?
We do offer gift packaging which you can add to any order right from the product page. Please select the “Gift Wrap” option when adding the piece to your shopping cart or during the check-out process. If you’d like to also send a note, please leave your message in the “Additional Notes” section at checkout.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do offer gift cards. Gift certificates are good for future purchases made on the site. Please click HERE for additional information.
Do you offer payment plans for purchasing artwork?
No, we do not offer payment plans at this time.
What methods of payment do you accept? Will I be charged tax?
Kapha Living accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal (US funds only). Tax is charged on orders shipped to Florida.
I purchased an item last week and now it’s on sale. What can I do?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of online retail, we are unable to refund the amount of item markdowns to customers. Items in our inventory are subject to markdown at any time at Kapha Living’s discretion.
I am a bit apprehensive purchasing an artwork “sight unseen”. Can I return the artwork if I am not happy with it?
We understand. For many collectors, seeing and experiencing an artwork in person is an important step in the acquisition process. We want you to love your artwork. If when the item arrives you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you’ll have 7 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return the piece. Returns must be made within 15 days of purchase. As soon as we receive the returned item in good condition, we’ll refund you the cost of your purchase, minus the outbound shipping charges. You may return any eligible artwork (i.e. artwork that is not a discount or Final Sale item), provided that it is returned in its original condition and packaging. What are the shipping costs within the United States?
We offer Free Standard Shipping for orders over $150 within contiguous U.S. To be eligible for standard free shipping, the order value must be $150. In-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Free shipping is automatically applied. Shipments to Hawaii or Alaska are subject to a shipping fee.
Do you ship internationally?
We welcome international customers. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a shipping quote prior to purchase. As always, the client is responsible for custom charges. Please note that international orders are final. Any order that ships over an ocean or border (Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses) is considered international and is final sale. Please note that art shipped outside of the contiguous United States may take between two to four weeks for delivery.
What shipping carrier do you use?
We mostly use the US Postal Service (USPS) which has proven to be reasonable fast, efficient, and cost-effective. We also can ship via FedEX, UPS or DHL but the costs are often considerably more. Shipping outside of the US, the actual cost will include shipping and insurance costs. The quote does not include any duty that might be assessed by your country. Please make sure to check with your relevant local authorities before making a purchase to avoid an unpleasant surprise.
How do you ship artwork?
Stretched and framed artwork are packaged in either picture boxes or custom-built art boxes to ensure safe delivery. We send art via USPS, FedEx, UPS and other common carriers. All artwork is shipped fully insured. Please note that unless specifically requested, all artworks will be shipped with no signature required for delivery. Please be sure to request signature required for delivery if needed by emailing us at email@example.com
Once I purchase an item, how many days will it take to arrive?
You can estimate your order’s arrival by adding the processing and transit times. We typically process and ship orders within 1-5 business days, and items with a special request such as prints, and framing may take up to 10-15 days. Once your artwork is shipped, depending on the shipping method selected, please allow 3 to 6 more business days for delivery of the order. You will receive an email with a tracking number so that you can see exactly when your package will arrive. If you need the item(s) delivered with an earlier deadline, please contact us before placing your order at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may try to arrange expedited shipping.
I made a mistake in my shipping address, now what do I do?
Please reach out within 24 hours to correct an address error. We do our best to ensure your package is delivered timely and safely. Once your order has been shipped, we cannot change the address and are not responsible for misdirected packages. Please see our Shipping & Delivery policies below for additional information.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, we can deliver packages 11″ x 14″ and smaller to a P.O. box. Larger items must be shipped to a street address. USPS is the only carrier that can ship to PO boxes. Please make note that if your package doesn’t fit, USPS will hold your package aside for only ten (10) business days. If the package is unclaimed at the Post Office window after ten (10) days, the parcel will be returned to the sender.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What if the item(s) is damaged when I receive it?
If your item(s) arrives damaged, call us immediately. You will need to keep the shipping box and contents. We will contact the shipping service and put in the claim. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges section for additional information
What is your refund policy?
We want you to love your new item(s). From the time you receive your order from our couriers, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the item or return the piece in its original condition for a refund.
Returnable Merchandise: All items are returnable only in new condition. We will accept your return of unused, unworn, unaltered, unwashed, and defective merchandise; we must receive your return within 15 calendar days of your order date. International orders are allowed 20 days. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Defective Merchandise: Damages must be reported within 3 days of receiving merchandise or cannot be returned. Item must be unworn, unwashed. Merchandise that has been washed cannot be accepted for store credit or refund.
Non-Returnable Items: Gift Cards, Clearance and Final Sale category items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Items that have been damaged or altered cannot be returned.
If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, you may return your order within 15 days from the date of purchase for a refund or an exchange.
As soon as we receive the returned item in good condition, we’ll refund you the cost of your purchase minus the outbound shipping charges. Please contact us at email@example.com for a return authorization form and return shipping instructions. Please note that we will not accept returns without prior authorization. All returns must be pre-authorized and have an issued return number. Returns must be made within 15 days of the date of purchase.
Consequently, if you receive item(s) you’ve purchased from Kapha Living and are not fully satisfied, you have:
1) Seven (7) days to contact us about your intent to return the item(s)
2) You may return your order within fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase. International orders are allowed 20 days (Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses).
3) No return is accepted without prior authorization
4) Items that are returned damaged will not be refunded. There are no returns on special orders, items that are altered by or at the request of the buyer, and “Sales” items
How do I return an undamaged artwork?
We make the return process is easy. The item must be in original condition and in the original packaging in which it was received.
1) Within seven (7) days of your package delivery date, please call us at (561) 376-2392 between the hours of 9:00am – 6:00pm EST Monday through Friday or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details and the reason for wanting to return the piece
2) Please repackage the item using the original packaging materials you received it in. If the original packaging has already been discarded, you will be responsible for purchasing suitable packaging materials to send the artwork back safely.
3) Please email us email@example.com to obtain a return authorization form and complete the return process.
Upon receipt and inspection of the piece we’ll process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment minus the outbound costs charges, within 7-10 business days of your merchandise return. There are no returns on special orders, artwork that is altered by or at the request of the buyer, and “Sales” items. No return is accepted without prior authorization.
What should I do if the artwork arrives damaged?
We take great care of meticulously packaging all orders therefore receiving damaged items is a very rare occurrence. Should you receive a damaged piece, please contact us within 24 hours at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (561) 376-2392.
Our return process is easy:
1) Please contact us within three (3) days of your package delivery date, you may call us at (561) 376-2392 between the hours of 9:00am – 6:00pm EST Monday through Friday and email email@example.com with your order details and photos of the damaged piece and damaged packaging.
2) Please save the box and all packaging material; we must have these items in order to process the claim with the carrier.
3) A Customer Support representative from Kapha Living will contact you to discuss the next steps.
I received the wrong item, what should I do?
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We do our best to make your shopping experience with Kapha Living a pleasant one. If you received incorrect merchandise, please reach out to our Customer Service promptly at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can review the order and help you with a return label. We’ll fix our mistake at no additional cost to you.
Who pays for return shipping costs?
Returns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine who’s responsible for paying the shipping costs required to ship the artwork back to our warehouse.
- If we find that the item was accurately described on our website (in terms of size, color, materials, weight, etc.) and you’re returning the piece simply because you changed your mind or because of buyer’s remorse, then you’ll be held responsible for the return costs.
- If we conclude that our description or photographs misrepresented the item, or if we failed to disclose important information about the piece, or if the item arrived damaged because of poor packaging, then you will not be responsible for shipping costs. We’ll make things right at no additional cost to you.
How do I modify or cancel an order?
To cancel an order that has not yet shipped, have your order number available and contact our Customer Support at (561) 376- 2392 or by emailing email@example.com We are unable to process cancellations for items that have already shipped. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges section or contact us for alternate options. We are unable to add additional items to existing orders or substitute individual items. You will need to cancel your existing order and place a new one.
SIGNING UP FOR A KAPHA LIVING ACCOUNT
Do I have to create an account to complete a purchase on Kapha Living?
No, creating an account is optional. In an effort to provide an exceptional experience for all of our customers we are offering the possibility to create an account on the website. To create a new account, click “Login/Create Account” at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts. Once your account is created, your past 12 months of order history will be available to you and so will be the usage tracking of your Gift Cards.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your account password simply click on “Forgot Password?” to email a password reset link to the email address associated with your account.
